Re-Opening after the COVID-19 Pandemic

After a long five months Hever Health will be re-opening its doors on the 3rd August 2020 following the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. We understand the pandemic is far from over and we are a long way off business as normal but we are excited to now start offering you face to face treatments and classes once again.

What services will we be offering?

From August we will be offering Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Massage (Sports, Holistic and Pregnancy), Beauty Therapy, Reflexology and Body Stress Release treatments. In September we will be welcoming Jennifer who offers Aesthetic Treatments.

In the studio we will initially welcoming back Bellydancing, Paraciseā„¢, Pilates Group and 1:1 Pilates and reformer classes as well as a brand new Ballroom dancing class and then Yoga with Katie from September.

You can see how the timetable currently looks here.

Some of the treatments including Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Massage and Body Stress Release are available to book online. Reflexology with Louise and Beauty Therapy and Holistic Massage with Catheirne should be booked directly with the practitioner. Classes should also be pre-booked directly with the instructor as places will be limited.

What precautions are we taking?

In order to keep both you and our staff safe we have put into place a number of changes to the way we operate during this time. We ask you to arrive just before your appointment time and wait in the main landing area just at the top of the stairs. Please do not enter into the treatment clinic area via the glass door until your practitioner invites you through to the treatment room. You will be required to wear a mask when entering the treatment clinic and whilst in the room with your practitioner. If you don't have one we can provide a mask for you. Your therapist will take you straight through to the consultation room and ask you to use the provided alcohol gel on entering the clinic even if you have already done so downstairs.

Your practitioner may look slightly different to usual but they are the same lovely people! For both you and your practitioners protection your practitioner will be wearing as a minimum a mask and apron. Practitioners may also be wearing gloves and a visor or goggles especially when performing certain techniques within your treatment.

We are leaving appropriate gaps between each client to allow us to thoroughly clean the treatment rooms and all touch points as well as change our PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that we will be using. Practitioners will also be following the correct protocol for hand washing before and after each client as well as using alcohol gels when needed.

Every practitioner will be monitoring their own health carefully for your safety. If your practitioner develops or shows any signs of COVID-19 we will contact you and re-arrange your appointment . We ask you to do the same. If you or anyone in your household feel at all unwell and/or develop any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 we ask you to cancel your appointment, please do not come to the clinic. All you need to do is call or email your practitioner and we will not charge you the usual late cancellation fee.

You will receive a phone call or screening questionnaire from your practitioner the day before your appointment. This will be to confirm the details of your appointment, let you know about the current clinic protocol when you attend but also to screen you for any COVID-19 symptoms or contact prior to your visit. If you miss the call from your therapist please try and return the call before your appointment so we can keep everyone safe and return any questionnaires promptly.

How can i pay for my treatment?

Your practitioner will inform you of your payment options which may include the option of bank transfers or in some circumstances card payment. Your practitioner may be limiting cash and cheque payment as this time to avoid handling between clients. We are asking where possible payments by bank transfer are made in advance.

Studio

Studio classes are returning but numbers will be limited due to social distancing requirements. The equipment that we provide may also be limited. Soft blankets and bolsters will not be provided for use as these can not be cleaned easily between use. Mats, blocks and rollers may be used but must be cleaned by the user before and after use. We encourage clients where possible to bring their own mats if they wish to but please ensure these are also wiped clean before and after use. The studio floor will be cleaned after every class. Alcohol hand gel will be provided and we ask you use this on entering and leaving the studio.

If you are unsure if face to face treatments or classes are suitable for you at this time our team is here to help.We are more than happy to discuss this with you by phone or email so feel free to get in contact. We are here to help!

Our priority is keeping everyone safe alongside ensuring you get the help and treatments that you need. Your treatments may feel and look different to what you are used to but we will still provide you with the best service we possibly can.
