Sharon Millar - Paracise™
Sharon Millar has been an exercise to music instructor for over 20 years and is thrilled to be able to introduce Paracise™ to Hever.
Lack of fitness, age, injury, physical and mental illness can affect our wellbeing but staying fit and positive can help us ease those symptoms. Paracise™ is a gentle but effective exercise to music class focusing on improving posture, balance, flexibility and mobility.
All classes are 45 minutes of standing exercise (no floor work) to fabulous music. Come along to appreciate what your body can do and how small changes can make big improvements to your daily life.

Jennifer Russell - Pilates
Jenny qualified as a physiotherapist in 1978 and has worked in the field of rehabilitation since then. She trained as a Polestar Pilates Instructor in 2005 and as a Franklin Method Level 1 teacher in 2011. She then completed mindfulness training in 2016 and is a Biodynamic Cranio Sacral therapist.
Jenny's Classes are suitable for anyone interested in becoming more familiar with their whole body and mind, a mix of movement, stretching, concentration and breath.
As a minimum requirement Jenny would need to speak to anyone wishing to join a class, ideally she would have a private session with you for an hour to understand your individual needs.
Jenny is also available for 1:1 Pilates sessions on the reformer.

Katie Brown - Yoga
Yoga can benefit everyone, whether you’re a total beginner or you’ve been practicing for years, stressed and in need of some time out, or you want to complement your sports training to strengthen and release your muscles.
Katie’s passion for yoga intensified whilst learning to manage a chronic illness. After discovering the healing powers of Yoga she now strives to help others realise the benefits of this ancient practice in a contemporary way.
Katie teaches Hatha Yoga. Her classes centre around Vinyasa Flow, a dynamic practice that improves flexibility, strength, posture and balance. Her classes are nurturing and start with a short breathing exercise (Pranayama) to calm the nervous system and prepare the body for the physical practice. With a focus on alignment and synchronising breath with movement, the sequence of postures can be as challenging as you wish. Katie has a passion for music which she uses to guide clients through each class.
Katie will be offering 60 minute yoga classes on Saturday mornings. This will include a gentle flow for beginners and a general all abilities class. If you're a keen golfer why not experience how yoga can benefit your game by improving your focus, mobility, balance and range of motion.

Michaelea Mackevitt - Bellydance
Bellydance is an Ancient and beautiful dance, danced by women for women . In these classes you will learn the core moves and fun routines which can help improve co-ordination , core strength, body confidence, memory and mental well being . This is a low impact class suitable for all women of all sizes and all ages
Michaela has been Bellydancing for almost 14 years ,she attended her first Bellydance class in 2006 and hasn’t looked back . Over the years she has taken workshops with some of the worlds top teachers and performers . Her passion and enthusiasm for Bellydance progressed to completing her teacher training in 2017 and running her own classes . She also performs with other dancers at fund raising events and for organised groups , such as young adults with learning difficulties and occasionally for WI groups .

David and Sandra - Ballroom and Latin Dancing
David and Sandra began dancing at a young age, David in 1974 and Sanda in 1968. They turned professional in the late nineties. They were 5th in the UK professional championships. They both taught on cruise ships and seen quite a lot of the world including America, Latin America and the Caribbean.
David and Sandra are holding beginners classes at Hever Health on Thursdays 7pm - 8pm and also teach at Hildenborough. They used to hold medal tests but these are currently unavailable due to COVID-19.

Joyce Hutchinson - Hatha Flow and Slowdown Yoga
Joyce, originally from the Sussex/ Kent countryside, and nature lover by heart, has just returned to her home of Kent after a 10 year chapter of living in London. Originally, Joyce has a background of working in the healthcare system, specifically with mental health. This led her onto a path of Holistic Health Care, and also to qualifying as a Yoga instructor in 2014. With all of this combined, Joyce teaches both Yoga and Mindfulness from a perspective that firmly supports the mental health of her students, as well as physical for the body too. She herself has felt the life changing benefits of these practices, and is passionate about passing it onto others.
Joyce has worked in a range of settings, from schools, corporate, universities, sports teams, yoga studios, care homes and more - she believes that Yoga is truly for anyone, whatever your age, background, gender or belief.
In a class with Joyce you will experience and learn what is know as the full “8 Limbs of Yoga”, which incorporates mind, body and breathwork. Her classes can both invigorate and nurture, as Joyce believes there is place for both energy and calm, in order to meet the needs of our human selves. Joyce uses carefully created music playlists to compliment her classes, and can often be known to finish her classes with a dose of massage! (dependent on numbers!).
Joyces Classes: £11 drop in/ 5 class pass £50/ 10 class pass £90. First class is half price.
TUES 6.15- 7.15pm HATHA FLOW (suitable for all levels, dynamic),
TUES 7.30-8.30pm SLOWDOWN YOGA (with Yin/ Restorative/ Yoga Nidre Meditation/ dim lighting).
